Our Team
The team at Shetland Women’s Aid is a dynamic, energetic, and fearless group of women who are working towards the shared vision of a society where women are free to be who they want and do what they want, no longer living under the hands of control and abuse.
We are experts in our field and strive to work in collaboration with you to achieve your goals.
We currently have fourteen members of staff under the following roles:
- Service Manager
- Service Support Worker
- Administration lead, Shetland VAWCYP Partnership (currently vacant)
- Independent Domestic Abuse & Court Advocates
- Adult Support Workers
- Trauma Therapists
- Children and Young People’s Therapeutic Support Practitioners
- Play and Creative Arts Therapist
- Prevention Education & Community Engagement Practitioner
